Al Maktoum International Airport
Inaugurated in 2010, Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) is located at 37 Jebel Ali, 22 miles southwest of Dubai. The airport continues to expand with the intention of becoming the world's largest airport.
How to get to the city center from the airport:
Private Transfer Service
The most convenient way to get from the airport to your hotel in Dubai is to book a private transfer service. A driver will be waiting for you when your plane lands, and you won't have to worry about anything. You can see all the information and book on our website at the following link:
Bus and Metro
To get to Dubai from Al Maktoum Airport by public transport, you can take the F55 bus to Ibn Battuta metro station (about 40 minutes) and then take the metro to the nearest stop to your hotel (about 40 minutes to Bur Dubai).
Buses depart from the airport every hour, and the journey takes more than an hour and a half, so we do not recommend this as the best option to get to the center.
Taxi
The most common and comfortable way to get from the airport to the center is to take a taxi. The price for a one-way journey is around 140 AED (US$ 38.11), although it'll vary depending on where you're staying.
