Heritage Village and Diving Village
Situated in the Al Shindagha neighborhood of Bur Dubai, Heritage Village and Diving Village form a complex of reconstructions that take visitors into the city's past.
Heritage Village is a reconstruction of life in Dubai in a bygone era. It allows visitors to discover the charm of the old Emirate world thanks to its stalls and constructions where you will find potters and weavers working on their artisan products.
Next, to Heritage Village, we find Diving Village, an area focusing on Dubai's maritime past, where you will discover the traditional community of pearl divers.
A changing scene
Depending on the time of the year, Heritage Village and Diving Village can be thriving with exhibitions and shows, or appear to be abandoned scenes of what once was. However, they are never much to write home about.
